Our cohort met at an Indigenous AI Retreat, known as Emergence Circle, in Santa Fe, NM on Feb. 26, 2026.

We were brought together as Indigenous Two Spirit/women wanting to brainstorm how to provide tools, resources, and insights for others like us in the technological environment.

We decided to create Matritech as as potential solution to research, collaborate, and share what we may need to succeed in an age of AI in our personal and professional lives and within our Native communities.
